Every year on Children’s Day in January, various events are organized across Thailand for children and families. This year, Glow Learning participated in a children’s event hosted by the Thai Ministry of Education in their courtyard. The Embassy of Finland in Thailand had a designated area and invited Glow Learning to organize an activity for children.

We decided to connect the activity to learning the Finnish language. Upon arriving at our booth, children spun a wheel of fortune with different Finnish words. They then learned the meaning of the word from a picture board, wrote it down, and decorated it on a leaf-shaped paper. These leaves were attached to a “Finnish language tree,” which, by the end of the event, had gathered around 500 leaves.

What an amazing language tree we had! Thank you to everyone who joined us in this Children’s Day activity.
